Comital is established to operate in the aluminium sector.
1968
The Cuki brand name is registered.
1998
A joint venture between Comital and Cofresco Frischhalteprodukte was created under the name Comital Cofresco, with the industrial and commercial contributions of Cuki and Domopak, two leading Italian brands in consumer-packaged goods.
2000
Comital Cofresco acquires of Europack, a company specialised in the production of aluminium and plastic food containers for the professional sector.
2008
Europack is merged into Comital Cofresco, creating the Professional Division dedicated to the production and sale of food containers made with aluminium, plastic and cardboard.
2010
Aholding (Corrado Ariaudo) acquires the full control of Comital Group and starts a financial and industrial restructuring plan in agreement with the financing banks, focused on the development of Cuki Cofresco core activities.
2013
Cuki Cofresco acquires Ilmak Makina Sanayi Ticaret, a Turkish company with headquarter and factory in Istanbul, to better serve the markets in Turkey, Balkans and Middle East.
2015
The Group completed the industrial restructuring process with the transfer of non-strategic activities, including the disposal of the aluminium lamination activities of Comital.
2017
Cuki Cofresco establish Cuki France SAS, with headquarter and factory in La Terrasse (Grenoble), with the objective of better serving the French and other European markets.
2018
Melitta Group acquires from Aholding the control of Cuki Cofresco to develop the European leading company in food packaging through the synergies with Cofresco Frischhalteprodukte.
